Free Unless We Win. All our automobile accident cases are taken on a contingency fee basis. We do not charge a fee unless we win.
Van Riper and Nies relies on hard work, open communication, and trust in bringing justice to clients injured in motor vehicle crashes. We are an aggressive military veteran-owned law firm that represents individuals and families who have suffered an injury or lost loved ones due to the carelessness or reckless actions of others.
We are unique as a plaintiff’s law firm because of our attorneys’ experiences with injury litigation. Attorney Tim Nies, our lead attorney on personal injury cases, is a military veteran and a proud lifetime supporter of the Disabled American Veterans. When serving as an Airborne Ranger with the Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, Tim sustained a line-of-duty knee injury during a parachute mission. He worked hard to rehabilitate his knee, but his injury ultimately caused his departure from the United States Army.
Tim, more than most motor vehicle accident attorneys, knows how it feels to suffer from and overcome a life-altering injury. He considers himself lucky, as the Army had excellent surgeons, and the VA was there to help him after his service connected injury during a parachute mission. However, he understands that others are not so lucky and oftentimes face huge hurdles in obtaining medical care after a serious injury.
Tim began his legal career as a Senior Casualty Attorney for Marshall Dennehey, the largest and arguably the most respected insurance defense law firm in the world. There, he worked with insurance companies and large corporations, including Fortune 500 companies. He honed his skills as a trial attorney and learned how insurance companies evaluate and litigate automobile accident injury cases, a skill he now uses to assist his clients.
Tim’s partner at Van Riper & Nies, Christian Van Riper, began his legal career as a State Attorney, where he prosecuted countless serious felony cases for the State of Florida. His time working for the state sharpened his trial skills, which benefit him today when he represents seriously injured clients. The work and life experiences of these two attorneys afford our law firm unique and valuable insight into how these cases are defended and how to effectively try cases to juries.
Motor vehicle accidents may result in serious injuries, ranging from spine injuries to brain injuries and even death. There is no question that insurance companies throughout Florida do everything they can to reduce money paid out in settlements. Our trial savvy attorneys care about winning and make sure the insurance companies pay for all the harms and losses caused by their insured drivers, whether through settlement, mediation or trial. This is our job and our attorneys and paralegals take their jobs seriously.
We will tenaciously pursue compensation for your harms and losses.
